29th International Karstological School “Classical Karst”: Speleology

The 29th International Karstological School will be dedicated to speleological research. Speleology is an extremely broad field that combines research on caves and in caves. Although we have already discussed various aspects of speleology in some past schools, the topic is always relevant due to the liveliness of research, many new methods and concepts. Last but not least, the celebration also honors the past International Year of Karst and Caves. Participants will discuss speleogenesis, cave sediment research, physical speleology, geological and geomorphological development, hydrological aspects of caves and cave life. Presentations of regional research, new methodological approaches and theoretical concepts in speleology are welcome.
