The 2023 version of our annual convention will be held in Elkins, West Virginia. As one of the largest annual gathering of cavers in the United States, it is a great opportunity to catch up with old friends, meet new ones, learn a lot about caving, and go caving.
To create conditions for connections and cooperation between the cavers and the speleological organizations of Balkan countries and their colleagues from all over the world by sharing information, experience, ideas, establishing joint exploration projects and expeditions etc. Excursions for acquaintance of the karst areas, as well as in the most representative caves in the area.
The theme thought for the 37th Brazilian Congress of Speleology in Curitiba is “Brazilian speleology in perspective: the search for unity for multiple realities”.
S4 2023 will consist of three days of lectures and workshops from experts in the field of speleothem science at the Institute of Geosciences at the University of São Paulo, Brazil.
